Cheese Filled Tortellini with Melted Butter and Sage (Tortellini al formaggio con burro fuso e salvia)
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 pound La Piana® Tortellini with Cheese Filling 1 stick unsalted butter 12 fresh sage leaves 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Cook the tortellini in slightly salted boiling water (about 5 quarts) for approximately 15-16 minutes. Drain but do not rinse. Meanwhile, melt the butter over medium heat in a small saucepan. Add the sage leaves and simmer for a few minutes until aromatic. Pour over the cooked tortellini and serve sprinkled with the freshly grated Parmesan cheese
